2026-27 TRYOUT INFORMATION

The tryout process for the 2026–2027 school year will take place throughout the entire summer, rather than being limited to the final weeks. My goal has always been for players to compete in at least two competitive 18-hole rounds so I can evaluate a broader range of performance data. A single round does not provide an accurate representation of a player’s current ability.

This summer, in collaboration with the RHS coach, we have organized a series of tournaments that will serve as our official tryout. The dates and locations are as follows:
 

• June 1 – Firewheel Old Course

• June 30 – Mesquite Golf Club

• July 16 – Firewheel Lakes

• July 30 – Sherrill Park Course #2

• August 10 – Firewheel Old Course

The cost is $69 per tournament or $250 for all five events. Please use the registration link below to sign up. Registration should be completed by May 15, as spots are limited and expected to fill quickly. All players are required to participate in at least two tournaments. If you compete in more than two, your best rounds will be considered when evaluating team selection.

I also encourage players to stay in communication with me throughout the summer regarding any additional tournaments or events you may be playing. My goal is to track summer performance data for both returning and incoming players.
